Keeping our employees and customers safe during #coronavirus

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and our customers.

We know that reliable, fast internet is critical to your ability to work from home, stay informed, and check in on friends and family.

Stay Safe. Pay What You Can.

Effective immediately, RG FIBER will suspend late fees and disconnects for the next 60 days (April & May invoices) to anyone experiencing financial difficulty as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Just let us know and pay what you can.

Socially Distanced Ways to Contact Us

We ask our customers to practice social distancing by paying invoices online, requesting email invoices, and call our support team as opposed to stopping by. If you want to see our lovely face, we’re happy to set up a video chat but we might be in our pajamas.

New Processes for New Activations

Our field crew will continue expansion and installation efforts as long as possible. Out of an abundance of caution and care, we will be asking our new customers if anyone in the home or business has experienced fevers, coughs, or respiratory distress in the last two weeks. Our installation crew will have passed a wellness check on the day of installation, wear enhanced personal protective equipment that is one-time use only, and sanitize all tools before and after each install.

Socially Distanced Way to do Contracts

During the install, we ask customers to sign our 3 year contract, but that would require physical contact…and that’s not socially distant…we thought about e-sign on a tablet, but again – not socially distant…so we’re returning to our original policy of no contracts – if we suck, we deserve to be fired.

For those keeping score, we wrote some form of the new buzzword “social distancing” six (6) times in this announcement.

Thank you for trusting us with your business!
